[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Front sling mount options

I have free float tube and I am looking for some other sling mount options other than using the sling stud. Any suggestions?

Thanks I am on their site now, Trying to figure out which one is best. I would have to drill a hole in the tube but that would be a problem.

I am contemplating the same thing, looking for a front mounting location. I have a Hogue ff tube with QD stud, but I want to keep it free for my Harris iPod. I am considering adding a short rail on either side then using a low profile QD swivel mount. I have parts coming from BlackRifleTactical on EBay. I figure the addition of the side rails will give me mounting location for a future light.
