I have a fulton armory varmint upper. I replaced the fore-end with a carbon fiber one. the first groups i ever shot with it were under 1inch at 50 yards with PMC bronze (5 shots), i'm only proud of that because i was totally fucking around! I have no doubt it'll break 1in at 100 if i do my part. From what I've seen of mine, and read elsewhere, under a half inch, 100, with good ammo. That from an upper that costs 490 bucks. I had a 'franenCAR15' that was a basketcase. It wouldn't cycle, it wouldn't feed...it would fire one round and then jam. I tried cleaning it, new mags, all the trouble shooting you could do. I called FA, and sent them my rifle to rebuild it. I told them I did not want a match rifle, but one that would fire and function, no matter what. 4 weeks later...I got my rife back and it went from being a basketcase to being gem...lightweight old school CAR15 that was just money with M193, and as reliable as death and taxes. I would not hesitate to buy ANY of their products from them. Hax |
Sorry wish I saw this thread earlier. Three years ago, I ordered a Fulton Armory Predator-Varmint rifle. Great service from FA, and the rifle is sweet. When I order the gun I asked to have the grip and gas block changed, and the did it no problem, no charge. After I "broke the barrel in" and started shooting for accuracy I was amazed. I can shoot 1.5" inch 10 shot groups @ 100 yards with Remington UMC 55 grain FMJ ammo on a good coffee free day.. And I'm a cook not a riflemen.. From shot one there has never been a malfunction of any kind, and I have shot a variety of ammo. The gun spits the brass into a 8"x8" square @4:00. It cycle really smooth, I'm not sure but I think they may have lapped the bolt. For the $900 plus shipping, it was $200+ cheaper than the RRA, DPMS and Bushmaster varmint rifles I was looking at. I would really like to see a marksman shoot this rifle to see what it is capable of, because I'm a cook not a riflemen, no really I'm a cook.
