Pior to the decision I made to go with a 18.5" Fulton Armory FAR-Liberator upper, I wasn't able to find a ton of info on them in the form of reviews or first impressions - so I just wanted to offer mine up.

What I intended to use this for, mainly predator & deer hunting with a good bit of mid to long range shooting at the range.  Ive played around with lots of AR's over the years and after getting into predator hunting and not being able to drop them in their tracks, I needed something to allow quick follow up shots and more knockdown power.  Ive got a Tikka CTR in 308, so I thought id stick with that caliber for a round that could handle what I was after.
So far-this gun has done just what I was after.  I took it into the field after two brief range sessions. And although I have plenty of rounds I plan to test in it, I have yet to be able to really hammer down with some lengthy range sessions.
But what I have been able to put through it, I have been very pleased with accuracy, and I have had no issues with function - both suppressed, and without the suppressor.
After sighting in and getting MOA groups at 100 & 200 yards with a 16x Vortex scope - I switched over to using my thermal scope to get some work with it before last weekends upcoming coyote hunt, and switched to Hornady 168 gr AMAX in hopes that they would group well which they did.
No pics of the groups yet, but at 100 yds the gun was grouping great.  I had 5 shots within an inch at night with my IR Defense Mark II.  Rounds impacting on top of each other.  This criterion barrel was reminding me of the accuracy of the Tikka I have fallen in love with.
I had to make only minor adjustments Sentry adjustable melonite gas block, just 4 clicks to make sure she wasnt over gassed, yet still functioned while suppressed.

Shots at 200 and 400 at night on steel - I was hopping back and forth between the two distances and was able to effortlessly drop shots on target within inches at no more than the 4x magnifaction on the thermal scope.

Fitment to my Tactical Machining lower is great.  Im only comparing this to the fitment between various lowers and uppers I currently have for AR15 builds, to include Stag, Larue, Anderson, Ameetec (lowers), and BCM, Noveske, CMMG, VLTOR (uppers).  Which the TM & Fulton combination was better fitment than half of the combinations of lower/uppers I have messed with in the AR15 bubble I have to compare it to.
