This past Saturday I installed a G2S in my M&P 15 Sport. Lurking here ( I lurk much more than I post) I learned of a retailer from GA that had a coupon code for $10 off. I was debating the SSA vs the G2S but when I went to that site they had 1 left, and the code worked - so for less than $135 I had a G2S delivered to my door. For that price and being the last one I jumped on it. Anyhow my brother came over to watch/help as he is considering one and the install went smoothly. Sometimes his extra hands were helpful. A little more difficult than online videos but neither of us had ever done it before. I can tell you anyone can do it - it is easy. Just certain techniques can make things easier I guess.

I had the original trigger in it, and the improvement is dramatic. There is a definite division between the stages, and the break is very crisp compared to the old one. As Geissele himself says trigger breaks are relative, and although he says this one is carrot like - he means carrot like compared to one of his match triggers. So keep that in mind. Compared to the stock trigger the new one breaks like glass, but I know that is just because of the slop I was used to.

Although I have never tried an SSA, I think I would have a hard time justifying the extra cost, especially when compared to how much my rifle cost. I got it before TSHTF and I have the 5R barrel, so I was fortunate.

If you are considering it, go ahead and get that "G" on your trigger. You will be happy you did.

G2S is great, but the SSA I believe has better quality control and better springs, and I got my SSA for $170 shipped as well.

I am not knocking your decision but just saying, and you really cant go wrong with anything from Geissele Automatics.
