Just a few months ago I had a the gas key screws on one of my Bushmaster rifles back out due to poor staking. It will cause your gun to go down in the worst way. This gun was a few years old and had a couple of thousand rounds through it.
I tightened the bolts back up but haven't taken it back to the range to test yet. I really need to find a tool to stake the bolts correctly. ETS: Just read the link above. I'll just stake it myself. |
