I know the idea is you get a CD size group out to 300, but does the combo of carry handle height and shorter barrel make more sense with a 36? Is your in close holdover less exaggerated than the 50? |

The accupoint is hard to beat, glass clarity, weight, and the triangle reticle is super bright. I’m big on the credo and accupoint lines. I know people scream acog but having some extra eye relief and being able to use a diopter to get the best focus is more important to me. |

I love the idea of a short 300blk as a do all kind of setup(0-150yrd) but found that if really tuned for subs, was way over gassed on supers, or tuned for supers, was way under gassed for subs. I ended up just doing an upper for each. I understand I’m kind of making my own mess here, as one upper can run both… |

https://youtu.be/KAY9OWNTfe4?si=4snPhPNxeRv8y6vt Interesting criteria for go to rifles. I agree with the magnification, some sort of back up aiming system, a light and sling. I don’t necessarily agree with mandatory 77gr, test firing every month with new batteries, and first round hits at 500. I think whatever ammo you can stack deep and what shoots well out of your gun is more important. I think 3 hits in a row at 300 is more realistic over first round at 500. |

It’s simple, lightweight, accurate, reliable, durable, and redundant. I can toss a QD magnifier on there if needed. I’ve had a bunch of ARs over the years, but I think this one may be my favorite. Only changes I might make would be muzzle device to add a can at some point. |

I don't worry too much about subsonic rounds since it is my go-to rifle; It's zeroed for and loaded with Barnes 110 gr. black tips. It doesn't have an adjustable gas block and the LWRCi buffer cycles fine although it's a bit snappy. I can't afford to shoot it as much as I'd like, but when I do plink I use subs. I've never had an issue with it. Just needs lots of oil with the KAC chrome bolt. I've probably put 500-600 assorted rounds through it without a hiccup. ![]()
