Just installed a lo pro gas block. Is it normal for air to escape "around" the block? Keeping in mind I'm just blowing down one end of the barrel and blocking off the other. Nice flow through the gas tube hole though.

Not really supposed to leak.

I would be somewhat suspicious of leaking under the conditions you have described.

I wouldn't worry about it.  It is normal for some gas to escape, you see these marks on the barrel and this area fills with carbon soon enough.  As long as it was installed correctly with set screws or clamps you are likely good to go.   How much gas leaks when blowing like that is very subjective.  Shoot first, ask questions later.  :-)
