I'm as much as a newbie as anybody when it comes to AR's.  Just completed my first ever build and am now looking for some irons to accomodate my red-dot.  I really don't want to spend too much on them.  This is purely a fun gun, but would like some back-up in case the need ever arises.  I'd like to spend around $100 for a set of front and rear sights.  The only problem is, is that I have a quad rail gas block and have been told that I can't mount a plastic sight to it.  Is there anything out there in my price range?

Thanks
Adam

Here's my rifle:

For that price your pickings are going to be slime. Maybe check MagPul, they have a very basic set of sites

You may be able to find a used set in your price range by looking around very hard.... I got a YHM front and rear (separately) off ebay with a lot of looking..

Also check the EE, there are bargains to be had.

I looked in the EE.  The reason I'm asking about this is because, I'm not quite sure what to look for

Plastic Magpul front sight on a railed gasblock is a no-go.
YHM used on the EE.
Keep your eyes open.

ETA: I forgot to mention BrightFlashLights here on ARF.

They stock many YHM deals among other stuffs.
