I just picked up an EOTech XPS2. I currently have a fixed front site with a folding rear sight. Seeing as the EOTech is not a 1/3 I would either need to pickup a new mount or go with a front folding sight (I am leaning this way). So can you all give me some suggestions.
Should I go with a railed gas block and a flip up sight or go with a gas block and sight combo. I am wanting to get out of it without spending a ton so cost is an issue. As soon as I decide I will be heading over to EE. Options I am looking at (or something similar to this): Railed Gas Block Flip up front sight Gas block with flip up front sight |

Keep both eyes open & focus on the target rather than the dot. If you focus on the target the FSB will ghost out & you won't notice it. |

You don't mention if you've actually shot the gun with the EOTech and fixed FSB yet. It's not an issue for most people. Shoot both eyes open.
Replacement railed gas blocks are 99% pieces of shit, along with the taller flip up sights that fit them. Stick with the fixed FSB. It will cause you less headache in the long run. |
