Bearing in mind that I know almost nothing about how an AR-15 functions...
Where is the gas tube? How hard is it to clean? How do you remove and replace it? |
| Yep, the gas tube is above the barrel just under the handguards. It's a thin metal tube that runs from the front of the reciever just under the carry handle to the front sight block. It pretty much takes care of itself, just leave it alone unless you are having problems and think the gas system is the culprit. |
