Gentlemen, what's the correct size punch for knocking out the roll pin that holds the gas tube in place?

Thanks!

I've always used a 1/16" for removal and install...

Ditto.  When I've done it the pin is the easy part.  Soak it in whatever?  Strange.

Some pins can be toughter to get out than others...I've done some easy ones, and one that was a royal beotch.

Slightly ironically, the punch tool that came with my Bulgarian AK was perfect for my Bushy's gas tube roll pin. Dunno what size it is...

I use a finishing nail.  I have the correct size punches, but I hate bending them, and some of them are really in there good.  I don't get worked up about bending a brad/ finishing nail, but I hate bending my punches.

Not that you want to take advantage of the store but if you buy and use the craftsman punches if they break on you just get a new one on your next trip by a sears (assuming you live close to a sears store)
