| I do not feel ignorant "typically", I have been a part of the community for a few years now. But I have a very basic question for a situation that I have not been in previously. I had been building a mk12 variant but changed things up. Just ordered a 14.5 carbine length barrel that I will be pinning a vortex fh to. (I do not need a NFA regulation lecture) The problem I have is that the lower I am attaching the upper to currently has a rifle length tube, buffer and spring in. I don't plan on running this system long just until I can afford a mil spec carbine tube and what not at max a month and a box or two of ammo if it is safe. What would be the situation if I fired the rifle? Failure to eject? Broken bolt? Massive catastrophic explosion??? lol |
