I feel really stupid for asking this, because I have read the threads, but I cant set in that pin.  I tried to get it in, but I can not get it in.  Same with the gas tube pin.  Why?

I have tried the gas block from left and right sides.  it sticks for pounding, but that sob wont budge in.  Cant get the gas tube, when squeezed w/ small needlenose.  Please advise

So I have tried the gas block pin both ways since tapered. It is a noveske 14.5 afgahn w. the noveske gas block.  It just gets in wedged, and I cant move it, and its hard to get out the other way.. I cant even seat the damn gas tube compression pin, I have used pliers! I can see through the holes and they are clean and unobstructed.

any advice?? ..  I know the pin has been hammered a bit, but shows no sign of wear...what am I doing wrong. Pins came w/ the barrel from Dennys GTS, this is no question of them, they were great.  Really enjoyed the experience and will definitely we back.  Please help.

Are you talking about the pin that holds the gs tube to the block or the pins that hold the block to the barrel?

Well...both....Now the noveske gas block has a hex/set screw at the bottom...do I even need the gas block pin???  I looked at the vltor and it had one.  Is that the only thing I need on it, besides the gas tube pin?

That's why I asked.  Are trying to drive a pin into a threaded hole on the other side of the gas block to hold the gas block on the barrel or are you trying to pin your gas tube to the gas block?

I have the correct pins for the correct holes respectivly for the gas block and the gas tube, the allan set screw is set at the bottom of the gas block.  The only hole that would be threaded has a set screw from GTS.  I can not compress the gas tube pin any further and I can not get it in.  Tried needlenose, I can not get pliers around it because its rounded and makes gripping hard....
