LaRue is great stuff, but it’s a gas block… not a Bolt or Handguard or Scope Mount.
YHM micro block is a great choice for around $20… It is small enough to fit under even the tightest rails and it doesn’t weigh a ton. Normally I’m not a big fan of YHM, but I have used their micro gas block on numerous builds with zero issues. I would confidently suggest it to anyone. |
| I don't have any LT gas blocks, but I have build around 10 AR's and never had a problem w/ any of the gas blocks I used. I have a YHM Low pro. under my MK18 RISII and haven't had any problems. I like shaved a2 sights better, as you know your getting a solid fit. Buts this is just my opinion. |

If it had been a virgin barrel, then a low profile GB would be the way to go. +1 on the YHM GBs I have one on a PDWgery that I'm building with a 7.5" bbl and MI FF HGs

You have a point… Should rephrase to inexpensive… And just because something is inexpensive doesn’t mean it’s cheap. |
