Hi guys, i'm selecting components for my first build and have a question for yall.
Is this gas block a low-profile gas block that will allow a FF handguard to clear it? http://www.gunaccessories.com/AR15-M16Parts/BULL-02.jpg I know it definitely looks that way, but del-ton's description of this product is...sparse, and this is the first time I've seen a gas block in this style. Be aware that not all FF Forends are created equal. Some brands have very little space to work with like Larue and DD, whereas others have too much room like YHM. You should get the inside dimensions from the manufacturer before commiting to anything. With a standard barrel I don't think you'll have any issues really, but if it's a bull barrel, then double check for sure! |
