Ok this may be a dumb question but i've only ever used what i consider to be standard gas blocks (fsbs and low profile etc) with a screw type set up.
I've been looking into clamp ons? What are the pros and cons of the system is there one someone would recommend? Sorry to be vague i'm just looking for generic info here. I've done some searching and most of the questions seem to be about how to best loctite (or not) the bolts that hold the gas block together. Any advice is helpful thanks. |

I have allen screw clamp style RRA flip up front gb and use red loc tite. been using it 3 years now and also have my sling attached to one side of it and its never moved a hair... I was worried about it at 1st to be honest but Im not anymore because I have hiked hours in the desert/woods etc and put lots of strain on it via the sling attachment...solid as a rock. Obviously the best would be pinned but I can atleast say its been great for me. gl
