I have the Gear Sector light mount for my Surefire G2L and it's good to go. It takes up very little rail space (I think 3 slots on my KAC RAS II), has the same profile as most rail covers, and locks up very solid. In addition, it allows my light to stick as far forward as possible, reducing the amount of shadow caused by my barrel and FSB, and it is offset nicely in the grooves of my rail (e.g., 1 o'clock position, etc.). The only "issue" I can see is that it isn't QD, but this isn't necessary as I don't plan on taking it off my rifle (plus, adding QD would go against it's low-profile design).

It is by far my favorite light mount, at least for the G2Ls that I have. I really like my VLTOR offset QD mount, but the Gear Sector mount sticks my light out almost an inch farther, and it's much less bulky. YMMV.

I sold my Vltor offset mounts to buy the Gear Sector offset light mounts from Jason.  They are a fantastic product.

The Gear Sector light mounts are lighter and take up less rail space than the Vltors, and lock the light up secure.

This is a very solid mount. If you are in the market for a light mount you should check this one out. Also have great customer service, did a follow up email to make sure i received my package in good shape and timely manner.
