Hey all.
I recently put together an SPRish build and installed a Geissele SSA trigger in it. I have never used a 2-stage trigger before and am a little concerned with mine. I am not sure if my perceived notions of what a two stage trigger would feel like were wrong, or if something is wrong with my trigger. When I "take up the slack" in the trigger, there is no resistance whatsoever, then the trigger breaks with a small amount of pull. I thought there would be more resistance in the first stage, but I could be off base with my assumption. So if any of you with SSA's could let me know if that is the way it is supposed to feel, I would greatly appreciate it. |
| I don't have experience with the geissele. But from experience with my 03A3, Garands and M1A it sounds like you have a very good 2 stage. If you have strong hands/fingers it will feel extremely light. I think first stage is 2 lbs. and second is 2.5 so there won't be a lot of resistance. In my experience a good trigger seems like it's connected directly to your mind not your finger. |
