| Maybe Im a dummy, but the instructions that came with my trigger dont seem clear enough. I guess my main question, is the alignment of the springs. Any step-by-step with photos? |

I managed to get it installed ok, after wondering if I was going to pop a few blood vessels in my head.
Actually my biggest trouble was aligning the hammer pin while getting the hammer spring mashed down with my thumb. Its in now, and functioning fine. Holy crap batman, that was tough. I installed a Timney trigger in my other AR and dont seem to recall having this much trouble. |

I installed a Timney trigger in my other AR and dont seem to recall having this much trouble. The Timney trigger is self contained. It, along with all the others (Wilson Combat, Gold AR, CMC, etc..) are super easy. You did not have any slave pins or use the other pins as starters? Lesson learned. |

On the Geiselle, the trigger went in smooth with the slave pin. However, when I got to the hammer, I think it was just my inexperience with ever having a hammer out of an AR and putting it back in. There was no slave pin for the hammer, so you have to mash it down and align the holes to start the pin. Speaking of which, Im using KNS pins on the Geiselle. I seem to recall stumbling upon discussion that mentioned KNS pins were not recommended for use with Geiselle triggers, any basis for this?
Anyhow, after dry firing a few times (using the sling to catch the hammer), the Geiselle is a vast improvement over the factory trigger that it replaced. Crisp break, no creep and light 2nd stage. The 2nd stage breaks just as clean and crisp as my Timney trigger. |
