As you may know, Geissele makes three types (Match, Service, DMR) of triggers for the AR, all are rated as being "the best". I'm building a precision AR15 and wanted to know which trigger do you recommend? |
|
I have a match in my AR10T and the DM in 2 AR15s. The match took a little getting used to as it is pretty light but for a bench/prone rifle it works great. For my more general use AR15s the DM trigger works better, at least for me. In the case you order one and don't like it due to being too heavy or too light you can order the other springs to change it since the only difference is disconnecter spring. |
| I have the match version in my bench gun. As funds become available I plan on swapping out my others. I've read all the rave reviews for Geissele here on ARFCOM, but now I know first hand it's all true. They are without question the best there is. You'll be happy with the match version. |
The "High Speed" triggers are all the same with different spring weights. If you get the Match and feel it's too light, get the DMR or Service springs for it. If your rig will be benchrest/prone use only the Match is the way to go. I have the Match in my precision rig. I have the DMR in my RECCE and (2) of the SSF triggers in my carbines. Geiselle makes the best triggers on the planet. You can't go wrong with any of them, they all have areas where they shine - choose accordingly. |
Try giving Creedmoor Sports a call - that where I found mine...large pin match for my Colt 6920...best 2 stage trigger ever! Great packaging, fast shipping - highly recommend...a bit pricey, however, IMHO it's worth it when you want something and you want it now - have ordered multiple times from Creedmoor and always satisfied. my $0.02 Sakic #19 |
keep an eye on adco i got a dmr for them a couple months ago |
