I got a oly k16 style rifle recently. 16" barrel, free float hand guard, a2 stock, flat top. And I got a few questions.
The hand guard doesn't appear to have a spot for a sling/bipod to attach and was wondering what bipods you guys use and what you do to attach the sling. I was thinking of getting a single point rifle sling after I swap the a2 out with the ace stock. Do any of you guys use a "BUIS" sights in combination with your mounted optics? (back up iron sights) I was thinking of getting some flip ups for the front and rear in case I ever need them. I hear that Ar's like it wet, so where should I go to find detailed information on oil/lub/grease etc needed to keep her happy. Last but not least, one piece mounts or two rings? Model 1 is selling a one piece for around $78. Armalites are going for $89.00 I got a leupold VXII 3x9 40mm tube that i am going to mount on it. The rifle came with one magazine, a dpms 10 rounder. I read a ton of reviews and based on all the hype and testing the magpul mags are the best, and I got lucky and found two different places with them in stock. Ordered a few of them. And looking for more. Any suggestions on other high quality mags other than magpul?
