Let's say you've zeroed your rifle scope at a standard distance, do you pop off the turret caps and zero those out?  And then adjust in and out from there?  It would seem to make sense to do so, but maybe not???

I always wondered but was afraid to ask.  I haven't been shooting with the scope for very long - can you tell?

i think i know what your saying.
i zero the rifle at say 100yds.  then i move the little zero index rings on the scope to "0".
that way if i want to dial up to 600 yards  i just turn the knob the required number of minutes and fire.

That's what I was trying to say.  Thanks!
