Just got an order of 40SW and .45acp ammo from them.

The 40SW was $13.50/50 180Gn Gold Dot hollowpoint in nickle cases.

The 45acp was $13.50/50 230Gn Gold Dot Hollow Point in Nickle cases.

Shipping on 300 rounds to California was $10.00.

This is significantly cheaper than the CCI or Black Hills ammo loaded with the same bullets.

I ran 42 rounds of the .45acp ammo through my Springfield Milspec 1911-A1 with no malfunctions.

My only complaint with Georgia Arms is they do not have online ordering. You have to use the phone. But they are very polite and pleasnat when you place the order.

One of the things I miss the most about living in Atlanta is Georgia Arms. Great people and ammo. I have shot many a 223, 45 from them. Matter of fact I'm down to my last 600 lead bulletts to reload. O how I miss atlanta.

Was that ammo the "Shear Power Plus" line? And was it packaged in bags instead of boxes?

I e-mailed the company and aksed if the ammo was sealed at primer or case mouth, and they said no. They do use Starline brass and low flash powders also. I have been thinking about buying some of their 9mm gold dots for my carry pistol. I figure I could come up with something to seal the primers, after I shot some to see if I want to carry it.

Yes.

I wouldnt worry to much about lack of case mouth or primer sealant. Navy Seal might need to worry about it. Average gun owner living on dry land, probubly not.
