Have a chance to score some real German AP ammo.
But it's $100 bucks for 60 rds. Should I get it just for the hell of it? Worth the money? .30 AP goes for around a buck, so I think it's not too unreasonable of a price. |

Not exactly correct. The Germans made both AP and APT. Assuming the ammunition the OP is talking about has a black tip, then it would be APT, but it could also have been correctly identified as AP... no tip color and a red primer seal...
We don't know since the OP did not specify the markings. IMHO $1.00 per round is fair. Comparing to US M-2 AP is not a good comparison though, since the M-2 is usually in better condition. You don't know what you are getting with the German stuff. If it is steel cased, it may look nice on the outside but be rusted internally... 1DD Quoted:
