For those with a GoPro I would like to mount it to my stock. How can I accomplish this if at all? I have the Strikemark mount already for the rail. Thanks!

You might be able to get a wrist mount through the slot in the stock (if your stock has a slot; I'm thinking a SOPMOD or mil spec carbine stock) like you see done with 401 GPSs.

I don't know; haven't tried it.

Use one of the sticky base pads, stick it wherever you want, clean off the remnants of the double sided tape when done. Probably the easiest and most flexible option for different angles and the tape will be more than sufficient unless you're just beating the holy hell out of your rifle with it mounted.

Came back to post this.  I forgot but quite a while back (before pic mounts were available) someone just used the stick-on helmet mount on his stock.  That method should make it easier to get the desired angle.

i used one of those flat stick-on mounts to the right side of my mag well. it worked extremely well except the deer i was shooting was so far away you couldn't see it in the video.

oh and for those that worry about removing it and having sticky residue left behind there was non. i was able to put a razorblade under one side and then pull it off by hand with no ill effects towards the gun or mount.

I have the LWRC compact stock on all my rifles. I will look into the sticky mount and the wrist. Thanks!

you might be able to get the handle bar mount and put it around the barrel mount it with the camera upside down on the bottom. i know there is a functions on my hero 3 white that will automatically turn the picture right side up...

I have the mount for the rail but I really like the look of the videos from the stock POV.

yeah i know what you mean.

another option might be the chest rig. but that depends on how your shooting stance is, and how square you stand when engaging...

One of the FAB Defense stocks has a rail option:

I know a lot of (right handed) guys running helmet cams on (the right side of) their helmets and it replicates a POV shot.
