Does anyone know what the history is in regards to prices, and how much they have gone up?  For instance,

1990, 2000, 2005, 2009?  Any help is appreciated.

In 1990 you could buy a M16 for about 1500$ a M60 might run you 3k and man that was outragous.  Of course today that M16 would be worth 10k plus and the M60 30K!!!!!!  Before the ban in 1994 your probably looking at 600 650$ AR's You need to go back to 2007 November to get a more acurate reading of what the guns cost.  Panic started in late '07

Well for instance I bought an M&P15T for $1150 last spring.  These days, I hear horror stories of $1400!!!  Give the market a little time to settle down.  Most online parts retailers are starting to see a bit of a downturn in sales from the peak we saw in Nov.  The big problem people are facing now is 6 mo to 1 year backlogs of orders for uppers, lowers, and complete rifles.

In 1991 I paid $650.00 for a Colt H-bar. That price was a little high at the time.
