| When is the time coming back when there weren't a million people all chasing down ammo? When will the stores have an ample selection? |
|
I am somewhat amazed the ammo manufactures are not, or dont appear to be building new manufacturing facilities anywhere they can find land. It seems to me that with the panic, and yes it will die down but will we see pre-2012 prices or pre-2008 prices only time will tell, they would be ramping up and getting ready because even if the demand falls back a little, the demagogues in congress are going to keep pushing their BS agenda so really, will the "panic" ever end? Probably not. Just ebbs and flows of it... We've all in our own way, I assume everyone does this, have been trying to open the eyes of anyone we meet to the realities of it all; that gun owners aren't the problem; politicians and mental disease is the issue and trying to win allies everywhere we go. Bring new people "into the fold" so to speak, so... the increased ownership should equate to increase steady sales and demand and a higher production rate.. I hope. I could be wrong.

I predict the ammo market for many of our favorite calibers will remain as is for the rest of the year. Another variable is the political climate - until it clams down the ammo panic is likely to hold for sometime. I am guessing this also. Having been a hunter and shooter for over 35 years now, I have never seen stores sold out of all .22 LR ammo. This won't go away soon I'm afraid. |
