Thanks for all the information and support from this group.
I finished my J&T M4 kit this evening. I built it on an Eagle Arms lower from Quantico.
Both J&T and Quantico were top notch to deal with. The fit and finish on both lower and upper is perfect...and tight!
As soon as I get some picts taken, I'll find out how to make my Yahoo! Photos work so I can host/post pictures.

Easy isn't it?  Have you started making plans for your next build?  I was getting crazy for a while, but the wife shut me down.  Now I have to be more discreet.

Looks like you beat me, SoFlo...I still haven't gotten my kit from J&T yet.  I was told today that it either shhipped out Friday or will ship out today.  I've yet to see the charge on my debit card, so I'm taking it that it hasn't shipped yet.

My J&T kit was supposed to have arrived today.  I guess I'll be calling Dana for a tracking number tomorrow morning...

:)

The anticipation is KILLING ME!!!

It was much easier than I thought it would be.
Funny that when I was in the Army we stripped our weapons down quite a bit, but all that stuff with the hammer/trigger assembly down in the hole was simply a mystery to us...we just knew to keep it clean. Now the fear is gone.
I am at the very least planning on another upper in an A2 config with A2 stock. This way, using the lower, I can have at the very least two different types of rifles off the same base...then will come another lower, etc, etc.
I can see this getting out of hand...AND I LOVE IT!!!
Mrs. SoFlo was a little freaked out last night as I am sitting watching the hockey game (Avalance) rubbing CLP on my new baby!
I thought I was going to have the urge to run through the house tactically clearing rooms. Then Mrs. SoFlo would say "I told you no live fire in the house, take that thing outside to play!"
