Which areas should I be using grease instead of oil? I read a lot about CLP, can you use it on all the areas of the bolt carrier?

I found it interesting reading about the Milltec and experiencing corrossion problems, it is what the owner gave me when I bought my rifle this week. Sounds like I need to pick up some Break Free products.

Thanks,
Elk

While one can use grease in the buffer tube to deaden the "spriong" sounds for the most part and on my AR15 rifles you'll find no grease used at all.

CLP is my lubricant.

Grease the lugs on the bolt. Also there are four flat surfaces on the BCG they need a thin coat of grease also.
