I was thinking about switching to the MIAD grip. I'd like to know it feels, texture wise. Is it a hard plastic feel or rubber like the Ergo Sure-Grip?

It's plastic. The texturing on the production models has a nice, sure-grip feel to it. Many folks consider it to be the best grip available because its modularity allows it to fit almost any ones hand.

It's hard plastic and has a better surface than grip tape if you can believe it. Go to the bottom of this thread: here for some links on the grip, its surface, etc.
