| So I'm getting ready to order my m4 CMMG and have several options as far as grips. I have always had the A2 grips on my rifles but I'm going to depart from the norm. The options are a G27, 2 Ergos, one polymer and one rubberized, and a Tango Down. What is everybody using out there in AR-Land? |

I have recently started using the MAID and love it. I have tried the TD but it just seems to small for me to have a good grip on the weapon. I even use (*Gasp) the hogue because I like the rubber and the finger groves makes it easy to have one handed control of the weapon. |
I use the rubber ergo as well and I like it. Anyone who shoots my rifle also seems to like it. I had a Tango Down and it was too thin for me and I have small hands. |
yea, i know--the Ergo (while not perfect for me) was the best the G27 was a tad wide on the butt, but it was the set contours that steered me away; the TG was too small for my hand the only thing that i wish Ergo and all of the other brands would do is to beef up the size of the TOP of the grip (instead of the butt) so the web of your hand has more area to encompass....guess thats where the MAID comes in, but i dont like its plastic feel |
