NICE maine coon cat. How do you like your 20lb lap kitty?


He's just a big fluffy 16lb skeerdy cat. Came home one night with a badly busted jaw. I have almost as much money in that kitty's vet bills than I do the rifle.

May I humbly suggest that you get a KAC rail sling adapter and mount the sling on the rail

Yeah, it'll eventually work loose wrapped around a mostly smooth forearm. That what those extra rails are for?
Been waiting on a CAR sling adapter so I can switch to a single point sling.

I like it though the top rail could be longer. I might modify an 8.5 rail for just that purpose. Another change I'd possibly make is putting a few vent holes in the tube. If I were to build another upper then I'd have to seriously consider a DD 9.0.

That's a great looking carbine.  I played w/ a carbine two days ago that had that exact tube on it, w/ a Crane stock...it felt great.
