[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Gun show build

Here's what I got together so far from parts picked up at Harrisburg gun show. It's a Bushy lower and stock with a Rock River upper and a Wilson 1:8 varminter barrel. I still need couple of parts to finish. Can't decide what trigger to get. I have a Compass Lake in another varminter, but it was hard to set up. Thought maybe a RR or a Chip McCormick.

Clean looking piece - are you going to block up the scope any? From the picture it looks a hair low.

$25 does not seem too bad for that piece if you feel you need it.

cszy67, yes I have two riser blocks to get the scope up higher. My main concern is the trigger. I want something that takes less fiddling than the Compas Lake unit. I took a look at YHM site, think I'll get their bipod mount too! Thanks.

I don't have any experience with the Compass lake but I like the JP triggers. I also have a shooting buddy that likes Jard triggers. I don't believ that either of them takes much work to setup.
