Otherwise I just use Breakfree and Birchwood Casey's "Gun Scrubber" and "Bore Scrubber" as a back-up. The MP-Pro-7 is expensive so I always get the big bottle and grit my teeth when I open my wallet!!!! Impala |

I've been using it for the past 2000 rounds or so, honestly I can't say that it does any better a job of cleaning, but I can say that my rifle does seem easier to clean than it did before I started using it (used breakfree CLP before.) They claim it is because of the dry film of lube it leaves behind, I tend to believe that. But to be very clear I don't think breakfree CLP is any worse than gunzilla, both cleaned my rifle just fine.

nah don't need to do anything special, I use hoppes #9 in the bore of my rifle, nothing funny happens when gunzilla and hoppes mix, it's not like oil and water. SO you use the hoppe's first to clean it then the GUNZILLA after as like a 2nd cleaner and as the lubricant? |

I run hoppes down the bore, mostly because I bought a gigantic bottle of it when I first got my rifle. the rest of the rifle gets cleaned with gunzilla, including the bolt/chamber...etc.
I run a patch with oil after the bore is clean and dry to keep the rust away, also a spritz of oil on the bolt for the same purpose, everything else is gunzilla. honestly if you wanted to you could just use gunzilla, it does a good job of cutting carbon and all the other shit left behind from firing the weapon. The instructions say it works as a bore cleaner as well, just gotta soak it for a long time. (I don't bother with that last part though, just use the hoppes) |
