Should the rear upper reciever takedown hole on a CMT upper be bigger than the front takedown hole? if so why is this......the one on my upper you can put a takedown pin in it and twirk it from side to side, but the front doesnt move at all.

both holes should be 0.251" +/- 0.001"

The uppers rear takedown lug hole is bigger front to back than top to bottom. It is about 2/100 bigger front to back. Normal. If you hold it up to the light you can see the oval shape of the hole. Helps with pin alignment.
