There used to be 80% 416 lowers available, but I think they disappeared five years ago or more. A couple older threads seem to indicate that HK put a stop to it. 416 80% lowers? I am looking some 80% HK 416 lower receivers? I am looking a 80% HK416 Clone lower. This thread has a link to a finished 416 clone receiver (without markings) that's apparently cerakoted, not anodized. There are a few outfits that make 416-pattern lowers, but expect to pay in the $400+ range for them. Gigliotti makes decent A1 and I think A5 lowers with optional HK markings. Fairly sloppy on the upper/lower fit with the BRN4 uppers I tried, but otherwise functional and well machined. HK locking pivot pin tightened it up significantly, paired with an accuwedge, it's a snug lockup. They added SBR markings for me at no extra cost, so that saves a chunk of time and money. |
