I want to install a 2-stage trigger in my Mil-Spec lower but both the Geissele and RRA triggers I have use pins that are .155" diameter.  IIRC mil-spec lowers are sized for .154" pins.  It appears that these pins can be installed but will be tight, often requiring a hammer to tap them into place.  Could installing these compromise the hard-coat anodizing layer of the lower?

I have Geiselle triggers in 8 of my guns and LaRue MBTs in 2. No issue installing them. They fit perfect and do not need a hammer to install the pins.

Test fit the new pins in the lower before you install the trigger.  I think you will find they fit just fine.  I've found that most lower will accept a .155 pin easily and quite a few will even take a .156 without having to force them.  If the pins don't slide in for some reason then I certainly would not beat them in.
