Does anyone know if this qualifies as a vertical grip? It is not designed to be held like a grip and in reality is to small to be held even if that was the design. My thought is its legal on a pistol and looks to be very helpful to help index the hand in the right place on the short rails of a pistol, so as to help prevent blowing your fingers off without using a mag well hold(which I do not like) and breaking the law.
I want to be 100% legal with NO wiggle room or room for interpretation by the .gov or local pd. Thus the question. On a side note I just joined the club. I just got my upper from spikes and will post pics of my new toy soon. |

Quoted: Quoted: A hand stop is fine. Just no vertical grips. I am sure its been asked but what about the magpul afg? Is there a ruling on that? I asked the same question a few months ago. The concensus was that it would probably be illegal. Also, $43.00 for hand stop? That's ridiculous! |

Is/are these definately legal? Or is this a grey area, in which case I will stay away. |

What about this one? http://www.parallaxtactical.com/store/images/IMG_9469.jpg Ergo Hand Stop $10 Likely going to be frowned upon as it seems to drop quite a bit below the rail and could be gripped pretty easily. I wouldn't use it. http://www.ergogrips.net/item-detail.cfm?ID=4201-SS&storeid=1&image=surestop.gif&CFID=42314961&CFTOKEN=29883824 |
