| I want to put some picatinny handrails on my AR to replace the stock ones. Just to hold a light. What are your thoughts on the KZ and UTG rails? |

It's nothing fancy but i threw together a "tacticool" dpms a couple months ago,
dpms a3 m4 profile 6pos stock. 830 new in the box. went to www.cheaperthandirt.com bought. UTG quad rails, 60 bucks firefield green laser, 60 bucks vert grip, 12 bucks surefire g2 nitrion, 36 bucks mako tac light holder, 20(ish) but was perfect for the surefire light. bsa red dot scope. 45 bucks 2 magpul 30 rounds, 36 bucks so bout 1200 in all with the shipping and such. i've put about 3k through it in the past couple months no hiccups comfortable as hell to shoot. actually just sold it to a guy for 1800 lol even after i explained to him he could build it for so much less. anyway didn't mean to stray from the topic. point is. all this "garbage" was VERY sturdy and VERY tight. VERY reliable in my personal opinion. |
| I used the UTG quad rail and went and did drills with the rifle today and she worked great. (737 rounds)I used vertical foregrip that a teammate had and the rails seemed to stay tight all day, even with seveal diffrent people using them. I will dump some lock tite in the screws and press on with pride. |
