This is my first AR, so please forgive my ignorance.
I just bought an Armalite AR-10A and all is great, however I'd like to replace the hand guard I really like the Rock River Mid-Length Wraparound Quad http://www.rockriverarms.com/images/products/wrapqd12.gif I wonder if it will fit my new rifle? Are hand guards pretty interchangeable? |

Check out this page on Rock River Arms website regarding 308 parts interchangeability.
Basically RRA makes their parts by their own specification and no compatibility is stated or guaranteed. As a matter of fact they say that IF ANY compatibility exist ... it's by coincidence only. I would shop elsewhere when it comes to 308 parts 
There are much nicer rails available anyways. |

YIKES! That disclaimer they had sure put things in prospective.
I do like Armalite 1913 but it's not available and backordered. I'll see what other hand rails I can find Thanks again |
