Has anyone built a version of the HK416? From what I understand it has a piston operating system rather then the gas tube. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

| You can buy the parts kit for it if you wanted, you'll see them forsale from time to time. Usually all you need is a lower, as the HK lowers are full auto. Price isn't pretty, $3-$5k for them. Just buying a name. Build one using a POF upper or something if thats all you really want is a gas piston upper. |
