How long is a CAR length handguard and how long is a midlength. I'm looking to replace my free float aluminum ahndguard with a set of rails and i want to decide on the proper length.

CAR-7"
midlength-9"

Carbine is 7" and Mid Length is 9"

"Intermediate" is 10" IIRC and Rifle is 12"
