I have a carbine length ar15. Are there any handguard options that would cover most of the barrel without having to change it to a free float configuration? From what I have read, I can only use a carbine length handguard with what I have. Thanks.

To go any longer you would have to go with a free float and most likely change your gas block to a low profile one...

I was thinking about getting a low profile gas block. I would then move the existing block and cap down the end of the barrel and just get a rifle length handguard. Just and idea.
