The short CAR handguard. I like the thinner profile. They have 6 holes correct? The larger M-4 has 7 holes?
Odd question but in looking online (ebay) they aren't very specific sometimes |

| Later production skinny HG's have 7 holes also. Early Colts were 6. There was a thread showing differences between the 6 hole Colts and the commercial variants. General consensus at the time was Colt or RRA were about the only one's worth spending more than $20 on. Thinking AR15sport has 6 hole HG's also. Haven't tried DSA 6 hole carbine but the mid length DSA HG's I have aren't Colt quality by any means. Functional yes but appear to be cheaply made IMO. Fitment is a little sloppy and low tier quality at best. Early Colt and USGI sub contract carbine HG's are about as good as they get as far as carbine HG's are concerned. RRA 6 hole was close to Colt in appearance and weren't sloppy as far as fitment is concerned. |

Those are nice and the heat shields appear to have a similar profile to the Colt's. |

Saw these on EE, not mine.

Advertises "good" condition, with poor quality pictures? For $75, you can do better. I'd recommend checking in with genofromreno. He typically has retro handguards n' such. His asking prices are not cheap (but reasonable), but his descriptions are solid and he backs up what he sells. |
