Who is the handguard expert out there?

I'm trying to decide on handguards for my flattop M-4 type Bushmaster.  I want to be able to mount a vertical grip and a surefire. I dont want the long flat top look (from sight to sight.  I just need the short handguards.  I like the look of the Knights RAS but read somewhere that they heat up faster than the ARMS.  Anybody have any suggestions on this?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

For heat dissipation, I think the new winner may be Abrams new Titanium handguard, Here's the link:http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=181523&w=searchPop

The Troy handguard is equally cool. Here's that link:http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=12&t=181449&w=searchPop

I am fond of the KAC RAS and I have Knights Free Float RAS tubes on all my ARs at this time.  I am curious just how much shooting you plan to do as I have shot my FF RASed uppers with the M-16 and yea they get warm but this is why you add the covers.

There are lots of great choices and I am not going to say you can go wrong with any...  I just wouldn't disregard the KAC for fear of heat as the military wouldn't use them like they do if it was a problem!

You might want to look into the YHM 4 rail HG's. They can be had for excellent prices from dealers here on the board.
