Why do all these simple little keymod compact forward handstops cost anywhere from $25 to $50 ? Midwest makes a cheap one but it's longer, like covers 3 slots. I'm trying to find a cheaper one that just takes one slot. Ridiculous how much markup in AR accessories.

Design Development/testing Raw materials Packaging Shipping Production Marketing Employee payroll Operations costs All of that factors into the end cost of any product you buy. $25-50 isn't really that much and doesn't have a whole lot of room for mark up unless you are able to produce and mitigate all those other costs for pennies on the dollar. this is just at the wholesale level. Once you then go to the retail level you have additional variables to add in which drive the price up some more. |

Oh here is air-soft cheap, but you would likely need to replace the bolt and nut for ones of a higher quality .
