I am looking for a hard case that can transport two guns.  Anyone have experience with This ?

Is Storm as good as some of the other vendors out there?

Thanks

Take a look at Pelican cases.  Good stuff...

Pelican bought Hardigg/Storm so they are one in the same.

Will you be transporting your rifles by air? If so, a lockable hard case is a must.

I prefer Starlight hard cases when flying with rifles. They will not break nor let you down.

+1 for the Pelican cases. Their customer service is great.
I broke one of my cases and they shipped a brand new one to me.

Either a Storm or a Pelican will serve you well.  They are very similar.

I have no problem getting 2 16" rifles in my Pelican 1720, but it does weight a ton when fully loaded.

The only problem I've found with Pelican cases is that eternal struggle of deciding how and when to cut your foam.  It sucks.

pelicans are the bees knees. i dont cut the foam, just compress it. different rifles are held very firmly. the foam doesnt "remember" the last use and returns to new each time. too many rifles to have a dedicated case for each.

I've read several threads on here from people who have owned both and actually prefer the Storm cases.  Many mentioned the quality of the latches as the primary reason, I think maybe wheels and/or wheel location may have been a factor too.  I haven't seen a thread in a while so I don't recall the specifics.

I don't own either so it's purely anecdotal(sp?) but based on what I did read I plan on buying a Storm from LT when the time comes.  (Actually the wife has been informed to buy me one next month for my birthday but we'll see if she remembers.
