I have a Harris bipod and have tried attaching it to an AR-15 and a bolt-rifle. Both time the bipod screw which you hand-tighten the bipod down with keeps coming loose. The other day I mounted it on the AR-15 and tightened it with pliers. After firing about 50 rounds I checked and the thing was wobbling around and the screw was loose again!  Is there a secret to doing this or is that something you have to live with? Thanks!

i just got in there with a hex-wrench and cranked it down. but youre right, it seems to want to work loose. i think, for me, its the fact that the bipod is fixed and im trying to transition targets, so there some torque issues.

I never had a problem with my Harris.  My current thought would be to put a little Loctite on it to see if it helps keep the screw in place.

Thanks, I'll try the Loctite.
