I am looking at getting a Harris Bipod for a DPMS 20" Bull Upper. I assume this upper has the proper sling stud for me to mount it. First I would like some advice on the benefits of the various types of harris bipods. I plan on doing Bench Shooting, but I would also like it to be suitable for a varmint or tactical gun if needed. The shorter the better I suspose, as long as the use is practical. I probably want need it to be tall enough to use in a sitting position, but prone is a must. I am not sure how much aiming elevation I would get out of the shortest version though. If I get a non-swivel version should I go for one that has preset height notches or get one that I can adjust for Cant with by making one leg longer than the other. Are there any good tricks for getting the bipod level on unlevel ground? Any advice is appreciated. Also if anyone knows of cheap locations to get them please let me know |
