mounted a Surfire XC1 light to the 12 o'clock rail on their AR?

Pics?

I've seen pistol lights mounted but they just barely cleared the front sight post and would block the lower third of most red dot sights. I was hoping that the XC1 would be the perfect thing.

The activation switch would be very awkward. On the XC1 if mounted to the 12 o clock position, it would require you to push up on the switch.
